When you access our website for informational purposes only — that is, if you do not contact us or otherwise submit information — we automatically collect general information that your browser transmits to our server.
This includes, in particular:

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 § 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest). Our legitimate interest lies in operating a functional, secure, and stable website.
Recipients
Recipients of the data are technical service providers acting as processors on our behalf for the operation and maintenance of the website. This website is hosted by DigitalOcean, LLC on servers located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. DigitalOcean is bound by a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
Storage Duration
The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of collection. For the connection data described above, this is generally the case when the respective session has ended. Server log files are retained for a maximum of 14 days and then deleted automatically.
Provision Mandatory or Required
The provision of the aforementioned personal data is neither legally nor contractually required. Without the IP address, however, the service and functionality of our website cannot be guaranteed. Individual services and functions may also not be available or may be limited. For this reason, an objection is excluded.
Cookies
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser on your device. Cookies allow a website to recognise your browser across page requests.
SmartHouse Technologies uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any comparable third-party tracking service on this website, and we do not set any first-party tracking cookies.
The only cookies that may be set are technically necessary session cookies required to operate the content management system. These do not contain personal data and are deleted when you close your browser.

We do not use any web analytics or audience measurement service on this website. No page-view statistics, user profiles or behavioural data are collected, and no data is transmitted to third-party analytics providers.

If you contact us via the contact form on this website or by e-mail, the data you provide (in particular your name, e-mail address and the content of your message) is transmitted to us and stored so that we can process your enquiry and respond to it.
Legal Basis
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 § 1 lit. b GDPR where your enquiry relates to the conclusion or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 § 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries addressed to us).
Recipients
Your message is delivered to our mailbox at info@smarthaustech.de. We do not share contact enquiries with third parties. No third-party spam-protection service (such as reCAPTCHA) is used on the contact form.
Storage Duration
Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply. Where an enquiry results in a contract, the statutory commercial and tax retention periods apply.
Provision Mandatory or Required
Providing your personal data is voluntary. Without your e-mail address, however, we cannot respond to your enquiry.
Fonts
All fonts used on this website are served from our own server. No connection is established to Google Fonts or any other third-party font provider, and no data is transmitted to such providers when you visit this website.

To protect the security of your data during transmission, this website uses HTTPS with current encryption procedures (for example, TLS).
